HAHAHA. yay. im using the hotel's comp. seniors are in TAIWAN alr, wow. soooo. yesterday was quite ok, although i was like half asleep on my feet. cause during the plane rides, i didnt really sleep, watched: the notebook, elf, cheaper by the dozen2, wall e, etc. when i reached san fran, its like what, 9.00+ alr. omggggggggggg, i am freaked out by walking along the like, streets, lots of gays, african americans. omg like, they spew vulgarities, and you get intimidated DDD: anw, bought the bus/trolley/cable car 3-day tickets, so i dont need to walk along the streets anymore! haha. so convenient. OHOH. did i mention that the weather here is damndamn COOLING&it rocks big time. though it can be downright COLD. but i love it. went to fisherman's wharf. shopped around, and had dinner there, there were like 30+ sealions er, sleeping on the floating docks. and gawd, they smelled. LOL. but they were HUGE&loud. so funny the way they sleep, they are like squashed together, sealions in a can. haha. there was this illusionist/magician/clown SO ENTERTAINING. he was hilarious with his tricks and jokes. went to the gym at night ;DDDDD

today,woke up at 7.30, bought bagels,corndogs,donuts at safeway. went to fisherman's wharf again to catch a ferry to ALCATRAZ island. the ferry ride was damn NICEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. stood outside&it was freezing but really enjoyable. reached there and watched the discovery video on the island. its the WORST place for any convicts to be sent. cause it was said to be inescapable, cause even if you escaped the cellblocks which is impossible, you had to swim the bay to shore, which is IMPOSSIBLE, cause the water is reallyfreezing cold, and you'd probably drown or freeze to death. there was this escape plan made by 3 convicts, they spent a year, using only metal spoons to dig out the vents in their cells, made a dummy head using only soap+cement! [like, how cool is that please] then they climbed up onto the roof and supposedly, using raincoats, tried to swim to san franciso, but no one ever saw them again, they most likely drowned. but they alr had a big achievement:breaking out of the cellblocks. and the guards only found out about their escape when they tried to wake them up in the morn. the guard smacked the guy's pillow and the head rolled to the floor, freaky yea. then realised its a fake. disgusting really. then there was another case, when this guy, knocked out the guard, and used a "bar widener" [consists of a bolt, screw etc.] slipped through the bars to the gun gallery [he starved himself just to slip through] then, grabbed a gun, released a few convicts to be his accomplices. then, held about 8 guards hostage. killed 2 guards, and injured others. the mastermind, was looking for the key to lead them out of the cellblock, but one of the guards had hidden it [which foiled the plan] it was bloody&gruesome. so, they called in the USmarines. and surrounded the cellblock. threw grenades in. and eventually, 3 convicts died in the process, 2 other convicts were executed later on. 2 guards&1 officer was killed. oh, alcatraz was known to have good food for the convicts, the only good thing. convicts which created trouble for the guards were put into a cell that, when closed, was pitch black. harsh. it eventually closed down cause it was too costly to maintain [wow, such a long par. shows that i paid attention ok ;D]

went to lombard street, [i shall post the pictures another time], it was so tiring climbing up the whole street, so steep&long. but, when you reach the top, you can see the whole city. cool. went shopping at "Ross", bought some clothes for my aunt's soon-to-be-born baby, Julius. came back to the hotel&went to the gym again. and now, im blogging. haha. im gonna see nick&dyl in 2 days! haha.

oh, i LOVE the trolley, cause you can stand&if you lean out, you can get hit by cars. but the thing is damn cool. my hands were freezing, the pole was ice-cold&the wind was blowing. ohoh. the thing about the streets its like, uphill/downhill/uphill/downhill. so its really fun when you go downhill on the trolley standing up. its like a rollercoaster. haha. anw, i gtg alr.
